Welcome to Physician Associates for Healthcare Improvement (PAHI)!

We are excited to announce the launch of PAs for Healthcare Improvement (PAHI), an initiative dedicated to advancing the role of Physician Associates (PAs) and their global analogues in healthcare through research, continuing professional development (CPD), and collaboration. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive platform for PAs to engage in meaningful research, enhance their skills, and contribute to healthcare improvement. This will build in phases, with phases 1 to 3 taking Aiming for completion by August 2024.

Phase 1: Establish A Presence

In this initial phase, we aim to establish our online presence and introduce PAHI to the public. You will find:

• Detailed information about our goals, mission, and organisational structure.

• An invitation to sign up for our newsletter to stay informed about our activities and future developments.

• Comprehensive information on research degrees relevant to PAs, AAs, and really anyone interested in healthcare research!

Phase 2: Establish The PA Research Directory

In the second phase, we will launch the PA research directory, showcasing current and proposed research projects. This phase will include:

• Detailed information on subscription options and their benefits.

• The release of our first newsletter to update subscribers on our progress and upcoming initiatives.

• A free CPD session to engage and provide value to our early supporters.

Phase 3: Establish the Research Hub and CPD Centre

The third phase will focus on the introduction of the Research Exchange platform for collaborative research opportunities. During this phase, you can expect:

• Expanded CPD session offerings on a range of topics relevant to Physician Associates.

• Opening of subscriptions, allowing healthcare professionals to access premium content and resources.

Phase 4: Future Developments

Looking ahead, we are planning several exciting initiatives to further support our community, including:

• The development of a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to PA research and healthcare improvement.

• An online poster event to showcase research findings and innovations.

• Continuous expansion of our offerings and engagement with our community to drive healthcare improvement.
